Privacy Policy

Focused Scopes is a field operations and property management platform owned and operated by High Rollers Reserve LLC, a Texas limited liability company doing business as Focused Scopes ("Focused Scopes," "we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. It applies to our mobile applications (Android and iOS), our web application, and our websites, including focusedscopes.com (together, the "Service").
1. Information We Collect
Information you provide
- Account information — your name, email address, phone number (optional), role (such as manager, crew member, or vendor), and company affiliation. Passwords are handled by Firebase Authentication and are never stored by us in readable form. If you sign in with Apple, we receive the name and email your Apple ID shares.
- Business content — the work data you and your team enter into the Service, such as scopes of work, properties and their addresses, client, vendor, and management company contact details, line items and pricing, notes, change orders, inspections, punch lists, invoices, and documents.
- Photos and media — with your permission, photos and videos captured with your camera or selected from your photo library for jobsite documentation. Media files may include embedded metadata (such as the location where a photo was taken) if your device includes it. The microphone is used only when you choose to record video.
- Support communications — information you send us when you contact support.
Information collected automatically
- Location — approximate or precise device location, only while you are actively using map features such as the route planner. We do not track your location in the background.
- Device and usage data — device type and operating system, app version, IP address, push notification tokens, and security and diagnostic logs.
- Crash and performance data — crash reports and performance diagnostics collected through Sentry to help us find and fix problems.
Payment and integration data
- Payments — subscription payments are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store full card numbers; we receive billing status and limited payment metadata (such as the card brand and last four digits).
- QuickBooks Online (optional) — if you choose to connect QuickBooks, we store your authorization tokens in secured, server-side storage that is not accessible to other users, and we sync invoice and customer data only at your direction.
2. How We Use Information
- Provide, operate, and maintain the Service, including syncing your work data across your team according to each person's role and permissions.
- Process subscription payments and manage free trials.
- Send transactional emails (such as invitations, notifications, and receipts) and push notifications you can turn off at any time.
- Show jobsite weather (a property's location is shared with our weather provider to retrieve the forecast) and maps.
- Provide customer support and respond to your requests.
- Protect the security and integrity of the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
- Diagnose crashes and improve performance, reliability, and features.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your data for third-party advertising. There are no third-party ad networks or cross-context behavioral advertising in the Service.
4. Data Retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service. When you delete your account, we delete the personal data associated with it, except for records we are legally required to keep (for example, billing and tax records) or data that has been aggregated so it no longer identifies you.
5. Your Rights and Choices
You can access and update your account information at any time in the app. Depending on where you live — including under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA/CPRA), the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), and the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) — you may have the right to access, correct, export, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hello@focusedscopes.com. We will verify your request and respond within the time required by applicable law. We will never discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights.
Client and tenant data. If your information was entered into Focused Scopes by a business that uses our Service (for example, a property manager you work with), that business controls the data, and we process it on their behalf. We will refer requests about that data to the business, or assist them in fulfilling your request.
6. Account and Data Deletion
You can delete your account and its associated personal data at any time:
- In the app: Profile → scroll to the bottom → Delete Account → confirm.
- Online: follow the steps at focusedscopes.com/delete-account.
- By email: send a request to hello@focusedscopes.com from your account email address.
7. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (Google Cloud), role-based access controls enforced by server-side security rules, and secured server-side storage for sensitive credentials such as integration tokens. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information using industry-standard safeguards.
8. Push Notifications and Email
You can turn off push notifications in your device settings or within the app. Transactional emails (such as receipts and account notices) are part of operating the Service; we do not send third-party marketing email to app users.
9. Children
Focused Scopes is a business tool and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
10. International Users
The Service is operated from the United States, and your information is processed and stored in the United States. By using the Service, you understand that your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a new "Last Updated" date, and for material changes we will provide notice in the app or by email before the change takes effect.
